Shark Week has begun!!! Discovery Channel all week 24/7!!
If you didn't catch it last night (it will be on again)..check out "Blood in the Water"....creepy. True story about the killer shark in 1916 that attacked 4 people in New Jersey and it also inspired the movie, "Jaws". Why do I do this to myself?? Now I will not swim in my mom's pool because he will come out of the drain, from the ocean, and eat me.
But as soon as you hear, "pulls the arm out of the dead shark's throat and rushes it to the hospital...." oh you are hooked!

How come all of us seem to have that fear about sharks in swimming pools? Is that normal or just a Conkling thing?

And Kelly, no you are not the only ones. When I was little I thought that Jaws lived in my pool. He would hide in the light when people were around, but if you were in the pool alone you were DEAD!
And I won't go into details about the touching the tiles in a special order to trap him in the light...that would just make me sound weird!
I watched Blood in the Water last night!! HE HE HE! They're coming for us in the pool!
Ok, clearly the Conkling side (or those who marry into it, Lorie) have a thing about sharks. Spencer LOVES them and so do I (from a distance). About 2 years ago, Spenc got the entire "Discovery: Shark Week DVD'S" for Christmas. On Sunday, we went through the schedule for the week and taped about 90% of the programs. It's just soooooo addicting. Oh, let's have a "shark week party" next year.
And it's true.... I was convinced that at NIGHT (day time was fine) Jaws was going to come out of the drain of our pool.
oh my goodness gracious gosh!!!! You're little girly is the CUTEST thing ever!!! I can't believe that she is already one!!!

I'm sure the other sisters must have thought I was acting a little "out of control" when I saw you (little do they know that I can be much more goofy than that!!) but you always have brought out the best in me!!!!!!!
